Based on Océ Gemini Instant Duplex Technologyä, the Océ VarioPrint® 6160 and 6200 print up to 70 percent faster than other cut-sheet systems. The Océ VarioPrint 6160 is intended for monthly print volumes of 4.5 million prints, while the Océ VarioPrint 6200 handles monthly volumes of six million.

Checkbook Printing Solution
In booth 1457, Océ and CEM S.p.A. showcase inline checkbook production with the Océ VarioPrintâ 5160 cut-sheet printer and CEM DocuConverter for finished check and coupon books. Up to 2,000 books per hour can be produced on stock between 16 lb bond and 110-pound index, including CBS-1 security paper.

High-speed Océ VarioStream 9000 Digital Printer
The new High-speed Océ VarioStreamâ 9000 prints black-only pages at 1,350 per minute—60 percent faster than the existing version. In addition to black-only pages at 1350 prints per minute, it prints 2/2 and 3/3 output at current speeds. The GraphicArtsplusä mode is available at regular speeds for increased graphic quality.

Océ PRISMA Accounting Software
Océ PRISMAä Accounting Software enables information tracking, capture and reporting to help print professionals measure, manage and improve production performance. Aficio 1350
Ricoh will show its Aficio 1350 monochrome multifunctional scanner/copier/printer linked to EFI’s MicroPress Pro Server, producing 8- and 16-page booklets generated from PDF files. These will be printed and finished on the show floor. The Aficio 1350 outputs 135 ppm and offers a range of finishing options.

EMP 156 Printer
The EMP 156 Printer from Ricoh, rated at 156 ppm, and offering a full 14”x18” page format, is designed for high-volume, high quality print output. Configured with EFI’s MicroPress Pro and CP Bourg bookletmaker, the EMP 156 will produce booklets and other items from PDF files in real-time.

DDP 92
Ricoh’s DDP 92 monochrome Digital Document Publisher features both VDP and MICR capabilities along with duplexing, cover sheet insertion, fold and staple finishing options. It will be demonstrated in operation with the EFI MicroPress to produce PDF-generated booklets as well as innovative bank checks using Ricoh’s Check 21 technology.    

DDP 184
The DDP 184 Digital Document Publisher from Ricoh utilizes two 92-ppm internal print engines for high volume production of VDP and MICR documents. Highlight color capabilities let users implement Check 21 processing while transforming checks and invoices into effective marketing tools. The DDP 184 also features a wide range of finishing options.

Aficios Running on EFI’s Fiery Controller
Ricoh will have two Aficio 5560 full-color printers on the floor, running with EFI’s Fiery Controller. The 5560 produces 55 ppm full color, 60 ppm monochrome, along with tabs, in line bookletmaking, and other capabilities. Demos include production of full-color VDP price lists, VDP catalogs, highly-personalized VDP direct mail items and more.
