Lasermax Roll Systems is an undisputed leader in automated paper handling, monitoring, finishing and converting equipment for the digital printing industry. They have a very broad product line available for feeding, cutting and folding systems for continuous and cut sheet digital printers, quality assurance systems and in-line finishing and converting modules.
- RSF5 Folder in booth #1267—The newly-available, highly-automated RSF5 Folder is shown, as part of RS Fanfold HS, a space-efficient in-line bulk fanfolding system for continuous digital printers. It runs either pinless or pinfed paper, at up to 700 fpm, and builds vertical fanfold stacks up to 39" high for long printer and inserter runs.
- RS Stack in booth #1267—stacks book blocks 2 or 3-up, or slit / merges transactional documents, and features a variety of options for maximum application flexibility. Strip cut / gutter cut combination accommodates full bleed sheets. In-line dual file hole punch eliminates off-line drilling.
- Web Vision in booth #1267—High resolution cameras scan in-line the full width of digitally printed bills, statements and documents, Web Vision captures large, high quality images to enable automated analysis of image quality, data integrity and workflow processes. Problems are quickly identified, minimizing the waste of both paper and printer time.
- LX Saddle Stitch in the CP Bourg booth #1249—This device cuts sheets from a continuous paper web and feeds to an in-line IBIS Digi-stitcher for bound manuals. The LX Saddle Stitch system shown includes the LX561 Cutter and LX566 Stacker modules, featuring the capability to handle paper basis weights as light as 40 gsm (11# bond).
- LX Stack in the InfoPrint Solutions booth #647—An LX Stack provides feeding and finishing for an IBM Infoprint® 4100 MD1/MD2. For near-line finishing of print on demand applications, the LX Stack produces 1-up, 2-up or 3-up stacks at speeds up to 450 fpm. Or, for billing/statement applications, the LX Stack creates pinfed or pinless slit merged stacks.
- RS Fanfold HS in the Océ booth #1217—The RS Fanfold HS creates quality fanfold stacks from pinless or pinfed roll paper, with a VarioStream 8750. This solution features automatic thread-up, automatic stack eject and its high speed makes it compatible with the newest, fastest digital printers. Stack compression feature creates a flat, compact stack for reliable inserter feeding.
- LX Roll-to-Roll in the Screen booth #457—Screen’s Truepress Jet520 color inkjet variable printing system is partnered with LX Roll-to-Roll. Center-shaft driven, it rewinds rolls at up to 500 fpm, and is ideal for special applications such as labels.
- DocuSheeter NV in the Xerox booth #1449—The new DocuSheeter NV roll feed system cuts and feeds single sheets from jumbo rolls to the Xerox Nuvera™ 288. DocuSheeter NV roll feed is ideal for Xerox Nuvera users running 11 x 17 applications, as it essentially becomes a tray holding nearly 30,000 ledger-sized sheets.
