Overview:

Xerox to Combine World of Color, Customization with Advances in Workflow Technology at Graph Expo 2003.

- Commercial printers, quick printers and others in the graphic arts industry need new prepress and printing tools to boost revenue in an increasingly colorful, customized document market - and Xerox will demonstrate how to meet those demands with a business building portfolio of workflow solutions, software, systems and services at Graph Expo 2003.

- Xerox will showcase innovative book publishing, 1:1 marketing and short-run

printing applications and will feature its industry-leading range of production-level color and black-and-white digital printers and presses from its DocuColor, DocuTech and DocuPrint lines. In addition, Xerox will announce new updates to its FreeFlow Digital Workflow Collection and will deliver business learning sessions and sales and marketing tools to help customers transform their businesses, improve efficiencies and build new revenue opportunities.

- Xerox will also showcase "real-world" print samples and creative applications from customers who have successfully incorporated value added services such as customization, on-demand book publishing, and direct mailing their offerings for healthcare, real estate and financial services firms. DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production Press: The DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production Press delivers what customers are asking for—high quality, short-run, full-color printing with the ability to produce quick turnaround times and every page to be customized and personalized. The DocuColor iGen3 is allowing printers to increase their volume, revenue and have the ability to create or expand markets. The breakthrough technology of the press results in dramatic advances in imaging, paper handling and control technology. The DocuColor iGen3 is delivering the flexibility and economics of digital printing while producing output with the look and feel of offset printing.

DocuColor 6060 Digital Color Press: Engineered for commercial printers, in-plant and quick-print professionals, the DocuColor 6060 produces customized brochures, one-to-one documents, and other print jobs on a wide variety of paper stocks, all with outstanding image quality. The digital color press prints 60 full-color pages per minute and delivers improved color consistency and front-to-back registration.

DocuColor 3535: The Xerox DocuColor 3535 Printer/Copier combines Xerox-exclusive Emulsion Aggregation (EA) toner with the market-proven print engines of the Xerox DocuColor 12 and DocuColor 2000 families. The DocuColor 3535 prints and copies up to 35 color or monochrome pages per minute and is the fastest product to incorporate the advanced EA toner technology.

Xerox 2101: The Xerox 2101 Digital Copier/Printer prints or copies as many as 101 pages per minute and addresses the growing need for advanced finishing, printing, copying and network scanning capabilities in high-volume office environments and low- to medium-volume print shops. The product offers a competitively priced feature set for entry-level print-on-demand, and for additional integration with color documents is the only product in its class with a scanner that scans in black-and-white or full-color mode.

DocuPrint 75 MX: The Xerox DocuPrint 75MX brings advanced MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) capabilities to mid-volume and distributed production environments. The product prints as many as 75 impressions per minute, has print resolution as high as 1200 by 600 dots per inch, and is designed for service bureaus, corporate data centers and companies in financial services and insurance that produce checks and negotiables for payroll, billing and accounting services. It also is ideal for lower-volume, distributed MICR environments and for non-traditional MICR applications, such as coupons and concert tickets.

DocuPrint 850 CF: The DocuPrint 850 continuous feed printer from Xerox targets high growth segments in print-on-demand (POD) and publishing, as well as transaction work, with a switchable pinless or pin-fed paper transport. It prints at 195 feet per minute or 850 two-up duplex impressions per minute. To meet POD and publishing requirements, the DocuPrint 850 prints PostScript and PDF files at 600 dots-per-inch print resolution using a Xerox DocuSP controller and DigiPath Production Software.
