Why Print Has Low Expectations

October 31, 2005 -- I have a felling that the reason the print communication world has low expectations and confidence about the future is the uncertainty regarding interest rates/inflation, the federal deficit and the how it will be controlled, and the new Fed Chairman. We all (those of us that are still here) remember pre-2001 and the uncontrolled optomism that reminded an older generation of the roarin' 20's before the Crash of '29. Am I that old?

Thank You,
Ron Gion
