Not So Simple

September 13, 2006

Anicolor Inking

The operation of this press looks simple but it isn't. Anilox rollers and water have not been very compatible in the past, where it has been tried on newspaper presses. At Ipex it was announced that the Anicolor press would be available at the beginning of 2007. Now at Graphic Expo's introduction of the concept, the due date has slipped to the Fall of 2007.

Slipping delivery dates is not a positive sign. It will be interesting to find out when it really will be available if at all.

Thank You,
Erik Nikkanen
