Kinko's Deal Not Good for America, Competitor Says
October 20, 2006
FEMA should have consulted with the Dallas Independent School District before they signed an agreement with Kinko's. Kinko's guaranteed that they would save Dallas ISD money over the printers they were currently using, but overcharged them $7,000,000. That certainly didn't save money and Kinko's will do the same thing to FEMA. It might be easier for FEMA to have an account set up, send a file, and have it printed without asking the cost, but we, the tax payers, are footing the bill to a company who has a history of overcharging. This is a great deal for Kinko's, but a terrible deal for the American public.
