What Makes a Successful Digital Leader? Find out in Webinar from NAPL and WhatTheyThink

NAPL's Andy Paparozzi and Howie Fenton will Review Results of NAPL's Landmark Digital Services Study 2007 in free Oct. 10th WhatTheyThink.com webinar sponsored by Canon

Lexington, KY and Paramus, NJ -- September 25, 2007 -- NAPL is partnering with WhatTheyThink.com to present a free webinar reviewing findings of the recently released NAPL Digital Services Study 2007: Identifying Digital Leaders - The First Step and featuring study co-authors NAPL Vice President and Chief Economist Andrew Paparozzi and Senior Consultant/Digital Technology Howard Fenton. The program, sponsored by Canon, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. EDT.

The Web program offers a unique opportunity for industry professionals to gain insight from this important research as they plan the future of their businesses in an increasingly digital world. The research report, also sponsored by Canon, was presented at Graph Expo 2007. A free copy of the report will be distributed to all NAPL company members as a benefit of membership. The report is also available to non-members for $299. To order, call (800) 642-6275, Option 4.

Participants will be able to view and listen to the presentation using a standard Internet browser with audio streamed via computer. Free registration for the Oct. 10 program is available at this special Internet page:

Paparozzi will introduce the session, speaking about the background, methodology, and intent of the study and Fenton will provide detailed insight into study results and field questions from the audience. "It is important to understand that this study is the first step of a rigorous, ongoing research program," said Paparozzi. "But even this first step has generated extremely valuable information which we believe will help print service providers avoid many of the pitfalls companies have historically encountered in adding digital services to the mix. Respondents live these practices every day, and we were pleased with the valuable insight they were willing to share."

"We are delighted to be partnering with NAPL in bringing important educational information to our wide audience, and we appreciate Canon's generosity in sponsoring this event," said Randy Davidson, president, WhatTheyThink. "More than 250 print service providers participated in the NAPL study, candidly discussing the difficulties, challenges and rewards of offering digital services such as digital printing, Web-to-print and one-to-one communications. Participants will learn what profitable companies on the digital front line have to say about making these services work."
