“Manufacturing is a huge industry in scope and size, with about 350,800 establishments that employ 14,699,536 people “ says Romano. “The industry invests $125 million annually in capital expenditures. It includes companies that manufacture and/or distribute goods for industrial use. The industry purchases $17.8 billion in print annually, much of it advertising/promotional and packaging/labels.”
The manufacturing industry is extremely diverse, according to Romano, making it difficult to cover every segment within the context of a web seminar. “But we will provide enough information to help printers reach this large and diverse market,” he adds. Segments include:
- Aerospace product and parts manufacturing
- Chemical manufacturing, except pharmaceutical and medicine manufacturing
- Food manufacturing
