Compass Capital Partners and WhatTheyThink Present Timely Educational Webinar on Mergers and Acquisitions in the Printing Industry

Industry Expert and Compass Capital President Peter Schaefer Shares Expertise

April 28, 2008 -- Lexington, Kentucky USA -- WhatTheyThink.com today announced the opportunity for industry professionals to attend a free printing industry educational webinar. Mergers & Acquisitions in the Printing Industry will be led by industry expert Peter J. Schaefer, President of Compass Capital Partners, Ltd.  The program will be held Wednesday, May 7th, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EDT (-4 GMT).

No-charge registration is available here.

“While the number of mergers and acquisitions in the printing industry spiked in the late 1990s, we are still seeing in the range of 50 deals annually in a contracting industry, and the number appears to be on the rise again,” said Schaefer. “Certainly, the size of many of the deals has increased and there is more focus on specialty companies.”

Schaefer will address the following topics during the session:

  • Current Trends in Printing M&A
  • What Determines Value?
  • Consolidation—Why It Is Attractive to Buyers
  • What’s Attractive (and What’s Not) to Buyers

“We are extremely pleased that Compass Capital Partners, Ltd., is partnering with us to present this very important educational session,” said Randy Davidson, President, WhatTheyThink. “Attendees will be able to benefit from hearing what Schaefer has to say about the role of mergers and acquisitions in today’s unsettled economic climate.”

Attendees will be able to participate in a live question and answer session to get the most from the experience and will be able to view and listen to the presentation using a standard Internet browser with audio streamed via computer.
