WhatTheyThink Offers Advice on Making Money in Tough Times during Free Web Session, Sponsored by Press-sense

Managing an Efficient Digital Workflow Cited as Key to Reducing Costs, Extracting Higher Margins

October 2, 2008 -- Lexington, Kentucky USA -- WhatTheyThink.com today announced the opportunity for industry professionals to attend a free printing industry educational webinar.  Managing an Efficient Digital Workflow: Making Money in Tough Times, will be led by industry expert Barbara A. Pellow, Group Director of Production Services for research firm InfoTrends and sponsored by Press-sense. The program will be held Wednesday, October 15th, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EDT (-4 GMT).

No-charge registration is available here.

“As the industry gets ready to attend Graph Expo, efficient workflow continues to be a hot topic,” said Randy Davidson, President, WhatTheyThink. “This session will focus on tools and approaches to optimize digital workflow and maximize profitability, providing concise guidance on how to make money in tough times.”

Pellow has proven to be one of WhatTheyThink’s most popular webinar hosts, with hundreds of printing executives regularly attending her WhatTheyThink webinars and accessing the archived material for later review. She will be joined by experienced graphic communications services professionals who will share their opinions and expertise.  Henry Wagner is a pioneer in web-to-print and is currently the Information Technology Manager for Innovation Printing in Philadelphia.  He has been involved in web-to-print implementation since 1999.  Additionally, attendees will hear from Matt Fumerton, Director of Strategic Accounts for Press-sense.  Fumerton also has extensive experience with companies who have successfully e-enabled their businesses. He will discuss the strategic importance of end-to-end automation of both production and business processes, and the impact on profitability that can result.

“Print service providers in today’s market are at varying levels of adoption in the quest for more efficient operations through digital workflow,” said Pellow.  “Regardless of where they are in the process, however, our research reflects that the majority of print service providers clearly understand they must do something.  That’s why this topic is so relevant and timely.  Join us to find out how to be the low cost producer yet still generate good margins, even in turbulent economic times.”

Attendees will be able to participate in a live question and answer session to get the most from the experience and will be able to view and listen to the presentation using a standard Internet browser with audio streamed via computer.
