"With the economy remaining uncertain and U.S. printing shipments on a downward spiral," said Sherburne, "business owners must carefully consider investment strategies in light of the business value they will bring.   Schaefer did a terrific job of explaining the difference in business valuation between companies that are no-profit, low-profit and super-profitable, as well as describing common characteristics of super-profitable businesses. We are pleased that Compass Capital Partners has agreed to share its expertise with our readers."

Peter Schaefer is President, COO and Partner, Compass Capital Partners.  Peter joined Compass Capital Partners in 1993 and is an experienced dealmaker with twenty years of investment banking and valuation experience.  He has handled transactions in virtually every segment of the industry, representing sellers as well as buyers.  In addition, Peter performs numerous printing valuations each year and is a Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers.  He received a BS in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College and an MBA from Villanova University.  Peter is a Member of NAPL's Soderstrom Society.

"My objective in this session was to help companies frame their thinking relative to maintaining and growing the value of their businesses," said Schaefer.  "Based on the questions we received from the audience, the session appeared to provide attendees with food for thought as they examine their business approach in a new and different way.  The best companies will leverage these difficult times to position themselves with increased strength when the economy does return."

"This session is very timely as we plan for 2009," said Randy Davidson, President, WhatTheyThink. "For our readers who were unable to attend, I strongly urge them to take advantage of the WhatTheyThink webinar archive to view this and other valuable programs.  We appreciate the fact that Compass Capital Partners is sponsoring this important session, allowing us to make it available at no charge."
