Monday, November 23, 2009

Press release from the issuing company

GSS (Graphic Systems Services) a privately held corporation located in Springboro, Ohio announced that they have acquired the assets and intellectual property of the Didde Web Press business from Stolle Machinery Company, LLC.

Founded in 1995, GSS provides parts and service support for the Harris/Schriber product line of which there were over 6000 presses and roll collators installed around the world. With the acquisition of the Didde business, GSS will provide the same excellent customer service to the customers who own Didde presses. Like the Harris/Schriber business, Didde has over 50 years experience in the web offset press market and they have produced over 7500 presses for the business forms, direct mail, label, and commercial graphic arts markets.

All the assets of the Didde Web Press will be relocated to GSS headquarters in Springboro, Ohio. GSS operates out of a modern 100,000 square foot facility and has the machining, assembly, engineering, operations infrastructure, and experienced personnel necessary to support the Didde business. All Didde customers may continue to call the 1-800-833-4333 number for parts and service and are invited to visit the GSS web site at www.gsspress.com to learn more about GSS.
